The project relates to the complete refurbishment and extension of an existing office building. The building was originally constructed as part of the Lakeside Shopping Centre development for the purposes of Estate Management. It was placed remotely on the opposite side of the lake. The building is now considered dated and the Client requires a fresh modern façade to the existing building structure and a new extension converting the development into a number of commercial office suites for rental occupation. The building extends out into lake in this very prominent location. Full height glazing is to be provided to the lake side to maximise the views with overhanging balconies to provide
solar shading and access for window cleaning and maintenance.
