The Waterbrook project has so far comprised of several varying aspects of Geo- Environmental Consultancy within GSE's Waterbrook Park Development area in Ashford, Kent.
We were commissioned to assist the Client prior to the construction phase of the project in the discharge of the environmental planning constraints and also to provide data for the cost effective design of both foundations and access roads. This was achieved by:

1. Designing a ground investigation to suit the proposed development.
2. Phase 1 Desk Study and Walkover Survey.
3. Window Sampling.
4. Cable Percussion Drilling.
5. Soil Gas and Groundwater Monitoring.
6. Geotechnical and Analytical Laboratory Testing.
7. Full interpretative report which included a phase 2 Qualitative risk assessment to address conditions on planning related to contaminated land.
8. Recommendations on foundation and ground floor slab design.
9. California Bearing Ratio and Dynamic Cone Penetration tests to aid in the design of access roads.
10. Preparation of Earthwork Specification.
