building and process services |

Mechanical processes and building services often present the greatest challenge from both a technological and integration point of view. Our mechanical and electrical engineers, therefore, work closely with other disciplines to ensure appropriate design and fit. Having worked on a number of large scale pharmaceutical production and research projects, our team have developed a particular expertise in 'non-clash' 3D modelling.
water process plant In order to maximise the use of a restrictive site, the process plant was stacked on three levels. This created problems from a co-ordination point of view. Our team fully modelled both the structure and the process equipment to ensure a fit and the level of detail is shown by the represented images.
research and production facility Following early space planning and the compilation of room data sheets, it became apparent that the service demands for both the laboratories and production areas were significant. In order to save space, our team designed an external chillier compound and internal three level plant room. The project also included de-mineralised water, nitrogen, oxygen and fume cupboards to all labs, autoclaves and a 3000 cubic metre chill room for product storage.
public buildings and schools The repair, maintenance and installation of building services in schools and other public buildings is another specialisation of our M&E Team. Work in 'live buildings' often requires a different approach to electrical and mechanical design and installation. Our Building Services team are well versed in co-ordinating phased installations in 'out of hours' situations in order to maintain the facility in operational use throughout. |
