structural ENGINEERING

Structural engineering is another of the partnership's core disciplines and our structural engineering team have worked on a diverse range of projects. Our structural engineers work closely with other design team members to produce cost effective, innovative designs using the latest range of engineering design and 3D drawing software.

riverside viewing platforms

GC Partnership's structural team designed a series of platforms and a bridge link as part of a riverside walk project. The client required a futuristic yet robust approach to suit the project's location and environment.

hydrogenation plant

GC Partnership designed this five storey building which contains process plant that utilises highly explosive hydrogen gas. The re-enforced concrete cellular structure is designed to resist three dimensional blasts and incorporates a series of strategically placed horizontal and vertical blast panels.

fire wall

In order to protect a new multi storey development from 'break out' of flames from an adjacent building, GC Partnership were commissioned to design a 100m long, 8m high two hour fire wall. The team developed a lightweight space frame design to resist significant wind load and support specialist fire resistant panels.
