GC Partnership's cost management team offer quantity surveying and construction cost management services from outline design through to final account. Cost management is an intrinsic function and our cost management team work both on their own specific projects and as an integrated service with our in-house multi-disciplinary project teams.

research and production facility

Our quantity surveying team was part of our in-house multi-disciplined team that undertook the fast track fit out of a 4500 square metre industrial unit. The contract was tendered on a two stage basis in order to reduce the period required for procurement and involve the contractor during the design phase to increase 'build ability'.

pharmaceutical research laboratory

GC Partnership's cost management team were commissioned to carry out a value engineering exercise and propose a suitable procurement route for the refurbishment of a 500 square metre working laboratory. The team went on to manage the project which was carried out in discrete phases during partial shut down periods in order to minimise laboratory down time.

piazza and footbridge

Our cost management team prepared the budget and compiled the tender documents for this city centre regeneration project. It included a feature piazza, pedestrian railings and enclosed, feature lit, footbridge.

school art block

GC Partnership's cost management team were commissioned to provide full cost management services for an eight classroom art block. The team prepared the initial budget, compiled employers' requirements, procured the project on a design and build basis and provided post contract cost management.

Initially GC Partnership's cost management team were commissioned to prepare the budget for the twelve classrooms and laboratories scheme. The commission was then extended to include procurement and post contract cost control.
