The project relates to the creation of a new Business Centre to support start-up and fledgling businesses. The local authority were looking for a striking building to demonstrate that business creates wealth, to encourage enterprise in the area, however economical to enable low rental values. The awkward shaped site had the benefit of a long frontage but a severely restricted central area therefore needing two separate buildings.

We recommended that the site boundary be realigned to enable construction of a continuous façade facing the busy Rainham Road dual carriage way and pleasant outlook across to Central Park. This was achieved and a bold colour scheme created with projecting
coloured fins with different colours on the reverse face. This creates an alternative facadefor each direction of travel when viewed obliquely along the road
