The Site sits adjacent to Queenborough Creek on the Isle of Sheppey and has approximately 1.5km of river wall/frontage in various states of repair. GCP were commissioned to carry out a detailed structural survey of the wall/frontage so that the results could be integrated into the development Masterplan.

In order to open up the site full public access and green space alongside the creek is to be provided together with a footway/cycleway bridge to gain direct access to Queenborough town centre.

GCP compiled the Masterplan in association with the Architects, EA and Swale Borough Council Engineers and it has now been formally integrated into the Queenborough and Rushenden Masterplan Supplementary Planning Document.
