GC Partnership was originally commissioned to carry out a survey of 750 metres of Victorian river wall, 1500 metres of revetment and two former slipways. GC Partnership then designed and supervised the construction of the 1.5km St Marys Island Riverside Walk and look-out features.

During the same period we won the commission to survey and report on the Victorian make-up and draw-down systems for the dry docks. This required diving/confined space surveys of 3km of culverts and shafts up to 2.5m in diameter.

This led to GC Partnership designing and supervising the demolition of a pump station and associated structures and the infilling of the system with 7500 cubic metres of foamed concrete.  GC Partnership were then commissioned to survey and design alterations to 2 ‘look-out’ structures which currently cantilever over the mean high tide level.
