To satisfy planning requirements for the construction of a new MDU on a greenfield site adjacent to a residential area we were commissioned to undertake:

• Phase I Habitat Survey.  The site was found to support protected species of lizards, and we were subsequently commissioned to trap these and transport them to a donor site;
• Noise Assessment.  A baseline noise assessment of the proposed site was undertaken to determine existing conditions.  Noise levels were also determined at an operational MDU, and these were superimposed on the baseline levels to determine how the proposed MDU would impact on the existing local noise climate.
• Archaeology.
